CNet has a DIY on vamping up your car audio system to be iPod compatible. The power of the auxiliary input!

There's a bare bones installation guide overview at Crutchfield. I also found a page where I could see what accessories are compatible with my car before making any decisions.

I've already got a collection of audio cords assembled from bootlegging which would go great with a stereo that already has an auxiliary input adapter. But I don't want to waste my 6 disc changer. I'm thinking that as long as there are instructions (that I read ahead of time and more importantly: follow - ahem), and the annoyingly weird twizzly stick from IKEA isn't involved, I'm good.
