Okay, so the hot cross buns recipe is taking longer than thought to put up. They're delicious and a bit trickier to make, but the recipe will be up eventually, most likely in the winter time when baking during cold evenings is more tolerable.
In the meantime, things have been growing in the garden both back:

and front:

And with a bit of ingenuity, a dash of hunger and mercy for the tomatoes growing wild, you can make something that looks like:

Ingredients:
-Spaghetti
-onions
-tomatoes
-basil
-olive oil
-vinegar
-lemon
-salt
-pepper
-hondashi* optional
-meat of choice
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. In the meantime....
2. Cut onion in slices and chill in ice water to cut down the strength and bite
3. Slice or dice tomatoes (resist the temptation to pop them in your mouth!)
4. Prepare the sauce: in a bowl mix olive oil and vinegar (in equal proportions) with lemon, pepper, salt and handashi
5. If you're adding meat, prep it and slice it and mix to sauce if desired to flavor
6. Remove cooked spaghetti, rinse under cold water and drain
7. Add sauce
8. Add vegetables
9. Add meat
10. Enjoy!
