Frothy Orange (Julius) Drink

A couple of weeks ago, we bought milk for the guests staying over at our house. Unfortunately, our guests never got around to drinking the milk with all the other foodstuffs we'd made (ummm...need to get recipe for drunken chicken).

I started looking for recipes that included milk, so I could use up the milk up before it went bad. When I came across the recipe for Frothy Orange (Julius) Drink, I realized that this recipe has been sitting around for quite some time and we never got around to making it because we didn't have a blender.

Now that we've a blender, it's time to put it to use, right in time for the end of summer too...

1 can (12 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups water
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Cover and process until drink is thick and slushy. Yields 8 cups.
